Um, isn't that what the definition of "future" is all about? The unknown. The unexpected. The unannounced. Am I missing something? :)

Well, I think maybe it's talking about the attitude we sometimes have that we can put things off until some distant time in the future, but then pretty soon the time is now and we don't have the luxury of procrastinating. Maybe that's what it says to me because I tend to do that :)
