All day yesterday I stomped around in a towering temper because the weather report promised snow, and we had nothing. Today, the forecast has redeemed itself :) 10 inches, and it's still falling!

I have to laugh here... Matt and the kids did the same thing... pounded around in a pout. This morning, they were happy for the snow day even though we barely had a trace at 7. And now they all are saying that someone out there hates them since we still only have maybe 2 inches. Thanks for sharing the pictures! Enjoy playing! :P

I can't imagine you in a "towering temper." Great pictures though.
Charity - only 2 inches?!! And you only live a few miles down the road! That's a raw deal for sure!
Jenny - I'm pretty good at pitching fits :) Have you been playing outside with Aidan?
Yes, indeed you DID get snow!
Isn't it amazingly beautiful!

It's times like these I wish we had some more hills around here. We got to do some great sledding, but nowwhere near that long of a run!
10 INCHES!!! We haven't even gotten that much. Great fun, girl! Hope you got on the sled too...
So I must confess that we didn't do any sledding. Those boys on the sleds whizzed past us down the hill & I was quick enough for once in my life to get a picture of it. But it was super fun to watch!!!
10 inches - Wow! Down here at the southern end of the state we share, Mother Nature only softly sneezed on us. If I were to measure, I'd maybe get close to half an inch. Even with half an inch, we found enough for snowballs!
How fun! I think we are going sledding tomorrow! YIPPEE! Derek mentioned an area near him. I don't want to pay to sled for 5 kids (ittle little at daycare) this time. Ugh!
