If this is winter, I'll take it!

First, I'm having the worst time deciding what sort of background to use for our little blog. I'm dying for something with tons of color to represent the beyond beautiful winter we've been having, but I'm not crazy about anything that's exceedingly girly... you see what a dilemma it is. One of these days I'm going to have to figure out how to make my own backgrounds and then all of my awful problems will be solved. But until then....

Gus is one!

Happy birthday to our very favorite puppy! From the moment my sis brought him home, he marched right into our hearts and established himself as a very important part of our family. We love him to pieces; there's no way around it!

In honor of Valentine's Day, I've decided to scour our picture archives and post a photo each day depicting some sort of love. There's a lot of it flying around in this family, you know, so the task will be an easy one. Yesterday we looked at sisters; today, let's take a peak at brothers:

Of all the pictures taken of the two of us in recent months, this is my very favorite. It's stuck to our fridge and makes me laugh whenever it catches my eye. My sis is burping, which, and I apologize if this offends anyone's ladylike sensibilities, she can do with great flare and gusto. And I, ever the adoring sister, am looking on proudly.
