Dawg breath!

Dawg breath is what Jan's dad says when an error has been made. And I say it today because as it turns out, Software Gray is almost exactly the same color as the blue that we already have. This is what happens when we fiddle around and fail to buy a sample of the paint we think we like and actually test it on the house before the painters come. But lest you think I'm having a pity party about this, the newly painted parts of the house really do look nice, because they are clean and un-faded, and in the end that's what counts anyway. I just wish there would be a more discernable difference, that's all :)

Maybe your house WAS "Software Gray" originally, but after years of the sun & rain and whatnot, it faded into a blue color! ;)

It is strange how different a paint sample looks from the finished product - It has happened to me many times.
You are right; it is really nice to have a fresh, clean look - even if it is a blue tone.

When it is all said and done, and the blue memory is truly gone, all you will see is the gray you were hoping for. Trust me these things take time. :) Personally, I think it will look smashing! Besides, it is my humble opinion that our first choice is usually the best one so you saved yourself lots of time.

You so need to talk to my sister Ginny about paint color...her whole house all comes from teh color of a garbage can she once had...you gotta get the story from her ... it cracks me up! anyway...I think your house looks fab! Count your blessings that it is painted and you didn't have to do it! :)
