We love Florida!

We love it so much that we didn't want to come home, and we've decided to become professional vacation-takers. We both feel like we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our first 10 years of married life - what a special treat to be able to go on adventures & experience new things with each other. I don't think even the 1000 pictures we took will express the fun we had, but we'll give it a try :)

So, first things first: We were thrilled to pieces with our accomodations for the week. The resort we stayed at is actually a time-share property and not usually open to non-members, but since September is part of their off-season, they made the villas available to regular people like ourselves. Our condo had two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with an enormous bathtub, every girl's dream!), a full kitchen, a washer & dryer (which meant we came home with hardly any clothes to wash!) & a little screened-in sun-room. We were very near to a grocery store & dozens of restaurants, and all of the theme parks were just a stone's throw away. It was quite lovely to come back after a busy day of playing and feel so at home. Parkway International Resort, you will see us again!

Somehow the Tickle Fiend followed me across the country...

We love Florida too. My little sister used to live there. We were there one spring and Matt decided to go snorkeling in the ocean... something the life guards laughed at him for wanting to try. Matt didn't think anything of it, he had successfully done it in the Inlet, even swam with a manatee. Well, the whole time he was out there, my sister and I were on the beach trying to watch the kids collecting shells all the while we were fussing at Matt for disappearing in the water. It was scary. And when he came out of the water, Amber and I were fussing at him as he walked back... forgetting the kids could hear. When Matt got close enough, Eli turned to him, put one little hand on his hip, the other pointing and waving, and started yelling at Matt, trying to imitate Amber and me, only in ELi's little 2 & 1/2 year old baby talk it sounded more like:
"Blah Blah Blah Blah... LOVE YOU Blah Blah Blah Blah."
Remind me to show you the pictures.
