Yuck
Today I had to help hold down a little boy who was getting a shot. NOT FUN. Things like this are precisely why I work in the front office instead of the back.

Whoa
Somewhere in the world pigs must be flying because I, this evening, have decided I'm tired of bread.

Today's advice
Sometimes it's wise to stop eating white chocolate M&Ms before you begin to feel sick.

Another song
This is a song we used to listen to on the record player when we were small. It makes me happy :)
I am a promise,
I am a possibility,
I am a promise, with a capital P,
I am a great big bundle of potentiality!
And I am learning
To hear God's voice
And I am trying
To make the right choice...
(And here's where my memory ends. I know there's another line or two, but I can't remember what they say.)

4th of July, installment 3

Thursday, July 06, 2006
I said I'd post more pictures today, but no. Blogger is too slow for impatient me, and I'd rather go eat cherries. But I do have some neat ones with Brent, Danny and Derek at the park and then watching fireworks, and they should appear soon. [It's funny that I feel compelled to make excuses for not posting, when I think maybe only two other people look at this thing besides me. I like to pretend there's some vast audience out there, waiting on pins and needles for more about my simple little life. Silly :) ]

I like songs
Below is a nice song for a sunny summer day.
All God's creatures got a place in the choir
Some sing low, and some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands or paws or anything they got, now ..
Listen to the bass, it's the one on the bottom
Where the bullfrog croaks and the hippopotamus
Moans and groans with a big t'-do
And the old cow just goes moo
The dogs and the cats, they take up the middle
While the honeybee hums and the cricket fiddler
The donkey brays and the pony neighs
And the old coyote howls
Listen to the top where the little birds sing
On the melody with the high notes ringing
The hoot owl hollers over every-thing
And the jay bird disa-grees
Singing in the night time, singing in the day
The little duck quacks, then he's on his way
The 'possum ain't got much to say
And the porcupine talks to himself I
t's a simple song of living sung everywhere
By the ox and the fox and the grizzly bear
The grumpy alligator and the hawk above
The sly raccoon and the turtle dove
All God's creatures got a place in the choir
Some sing low, and some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands or paws or anything they got, now ..
